Course Description
Beginner -
Never driven before, start with controls lesson and then progress on to
moving off & stopping in a quiet location. Work through the DSA syllabus
at your pace until you feel comfortable driving without assistance.
Intermediate
- Driven before or had lessons previously - Assessment drive then
decide on a suitable starting point within the DSA syllabus. It may be
necessary to go back over some weaker areas or deal with bad habits that
have developed.
Motorway - For someone who has no Motorway experience
or just wants to gain confidence on faster busier roads.
Pass Plus
- A specially designed 6, (minimum), module course to provide more experience for new drivers. The 6 modules are Town driving, Country roads, Motorways, Dual Carriageways, Night driving and Adverse conditions. There is no formal test to sit but you must drive to the required standard.
You usually qualify for insurance discounts on completion. More information can be found on the Pass Plus web site.

Refresher - General driving
or Motorway /Dual-Carriageway. Perhaps multi storey car parks faze you.
Some extra guidance to bring you back up to speed and revitalise your
confidence. A good way for
someone new to the area to get to know their way around!
Extended Test - For someone who has held a full licence but has to re-sit their test. (A
High standard is required to pass)

Semi-Intensive - A number of lessons taken over a short period of time. May suit someone who can not cope with a fully intensive course. (e.g. A boost prior to a test).

Car plus Trailer
(B+E) -Short 2/3 day courses or weekly lessons available-Test are
from Perth lgv test centre on Arran Road.
